21 st, Santa Monica
About the project
This Santa Monica remodel focused on transforming a dated bathroom into a modern, airy retreat. Located at 469 21st Street, the project combined refined aesthetics with thoughtful functionality. Large-format porcelain tiles were chosen to create a seamless look across the floor and walls, while a solid-base vanity and backlit mirrors added a sense of depth and modern elegance.
Our remodeling company reconfigured the shower area to include a sleek glass enclosure, upgraded fixtures in brushed gold, and a recessed niche for added convenience. A freestanding tub became the focal point of the space, perfect for relaxation without compromising on square footage. Custom lighting, improved ventilation, and high-end finishes completed the space, turning it into a luxurious yet practical escape.

Custom Stonework and Vertical Surfaces: From the full-height slab behind the tub to the refined porcelain tile finishes, this bathroom uses surface materials as sculptural elements. The veining creates movement and showcases the craftsmanship of the installation.
Fluted Vanity & Brass Accents: A fluted wood vanity anchors the space with both texture and warmth. Paired with black fixtures and hardware, the palette strikes a balance between vintage character and contemporary polish.
