This clinic remodel in Venice, CA began with a clear intention. The space needed to feel luxurious without excess and personal without moodiness. Every decision followed that balance.
We transformed a former bridal shop into a modern aesthetic clinic where natural light shapes the plan while premium materials carry confidence. Nothing feels loud, yet every surface holds weight.
The design draws from European boutique sensibilities while reflecting the neighborhood’s creative spirit. Bold colors, sculptural lighting, and custom details create rhythm rather than repetition. The space welcomes pause, invites trust, and feels considered. As with all of our home remodeling services, the goal remained the same: create an environment that supports real use while elevating everyday experience.

Design and Build Details
Original Challenges
The original space asked for a full reset. The layout felt dated, and several areas showed signs of past water damage, which required immediate attention before any design work could move forward. At the same time, the design brief pushed complexity. The client envisioned a space defined by rare finishes, exact material placement, and the thoughtful reuse of select existing pieces.
The timeline added another layer of intensity. Construction began before material orders were finalized. Many finishes required long lead times. Green bathroom tile took eight weeks to arrive. Cabinet selections shifted late. Flooring choices changed midstream, which affected sequencing across the project. Decorative sconces arrived in the final days. Precision mattered, leaving no room for over-ordering or miscalculation.
Our Solution
We ran this project with discipline and intention. Teams worked in parallel rather than sequence. Decisions happened in real time, adjustments followed immediately, the layout evolved to support both client experience and daily clinic flow, a process shaped by our role as a Venice remodeling contractor familiar with the pace and constraints of local commercial projects.
We restructured the entire lighting plan to control mood and movement, with LED recessed fixtures establishing an even, calming base. Staff areas received a full refresh, including epoxy flooring, updated lighting, interior paint, and a reworked layout that supports focus and comfort. Low-voltage lines run throughout the clinic support a closed camera system without disrupting the aesthetic.
Materials and Design Choices
Material choices carry the narrative forward. A beautifully veined stone slab wraps both the front desk and bathroom vanity, creating continuity across the space. Behind the desk, an antique custom door introduces age, patina, and contrast. It grounds the room and tells a story.
Fluted paneling along the reception desk adds texture and rhythm. Checkered tile patterns bring structure to the main areas, while Starphire ultra-clear glass keeps transitions light and unobstructed. Limewash walls add softness and movement. Custom cabinetry and shelving support function without visual noise. Special-order tiles, sculptural mirrors, brass-toned fixtures, and a statement chandelier complete the space with restraint and intention.
